Owners: Arlin & Janene Van Gorp
Arlin has been working in automobile body repair for over 35 years. He graduated from NCC with a degree in Auto Body Repair and has continued to study new techniques. He has been married to his wife Janene since 1976. They have been blessed with three children who are married: Mindy & Jason Abendroth; Luke & Jana Van Gorp, and Seth & Amy Van Gorp, and they have 3 granddaughters. Janene is the bookkeeper and payroll person. She has been doing the books since it started as a one-man shop in 1983 until the present time. She enjoys her work on the computer and the flexibility of her hours.
Auto Body Repair: Dave Dykstra
Dave has been working for Countryside Body Shop, Inc. since 1992 after 10 years experience at other shops. He is a skilled technician and uses his creativity to do quality repairs. Dave lives in Boyden and has been married to his wife Jen since 1994, they have one son, Eli. Dave also does air-brushing on motorcycles and other vehicles.
Designer: Paula Strait
In 1994 Paula graduated with an Associated Arts Degree in Madison, WI where she started a small sign shop designing logos and signage. Then along with her husband Ricky and two children Brittney and Ryan, Paula moved to Rock Valley. After the move, Paula started designing again at Countryside. "Countryside is a great place to get one on one attention with the customer. We can supply you with an idea and work through the idea until it's a finished product."
